Individual Psychotherapy

One-on-one sessions conducted by a licensed behavioral health professional for adults 18+ addressing mental health and substance use concerns in a private, supportive setting.

Psychiatric Evaluation & Medication Management

A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation is conducted within two weeks of intake. Psychotropic medications are prescribed exclusively by our licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

Group Psychotherapy & Psychoeducation

Structured group therapy and psychoeducational workshops covering addiction, life skills, wellness, nutrition, and physical fitness — led by licensed clinicians with max 12 participants per group.

A structured IOP providing a minimum of 9 hours of therapeutic services per week for individuals with moderate to severe symptoms who do not require inpatient care.

Valley Empower serves adults 18 and older seeking outpatient mental health and substance use treatment. We accept most insurance plans including AHCCCS/Medicaid and offer sliding-scale fees.
Your first visit is a comprehensive intake assessment with a licensed clinician. We'll review your history, discuss your goals, and begin building your personalized treatment plan — in a private, judgment-free setting.
We currently accept AHCCCS/Medicaid and are actively adding more plans. We verify benefits at no cost — contact us and our team will check your coverage before your first appointment.
Our IOP provides a minimum of 9 hours of structured therapeutic services per week — including group therapy, psychoeducation, and individual sessions — for individuals with moderate to severe symptoms who don't require inpatient care.
All psychiatric medications are prescribed exclusively by our licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), following a comprehensive evaluation within two weeks of intake.
We are located at 16448 N. 40th St., Phoenix, AZ 85032. Office hours are Monday–Friday 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Weekends are by appointment only. We are closed on major holidays.
